Butcher Babies (with Chad Gray)

Butcher Babies play The Studio at the Factory on Monday, October 12, with Chad Gray joining them. The show starts at 6 PM at 2727 Canton St in Dallas.

If you're not familiar, Butcher Babies hail from Las Vegas and formed in 2009. They blend thrash, groove, and melodic metal, and they're open about where that sound comes from: they cite Pantera and Slipknot alongside No Doubt and PJ Harvey. It's a mix that puts them in a different lane than your standard metal act.

They've been at it for over a decade. Their debut album, Goliath, came out in 2013 and earned critical acclaim, and they followed it with Take It Like a Man in 2015, Lilith in 2017, and Eye for an Eye and 'Til the World's Blind in 2023. The current lineup is Heidi Shepherd on vocals, Henry Flury on guitar, and Devin Nickles on drums.

With Chad Gray on the bill, it's a full evening of metal. The show is Monday, October 12, at 6 PM, at The Studio at the Factory, 2727 Canton St in Dallas.
