Portland folk-punk band Bridge City Sinners perform their 'Trick or Treat' tour with support from Streetlight Manifesto at the House of Blues Dallas.
Bridge City Sinners play the House of Blues Dallas on Friday, November 13, with Streetlight Manifesto opening. It's the first of three Texas dates on their 2026 tour, which they've titled Trick or Treat and themed around Halloween. The run continues in Houston on November 14 and San Antonio on November 15.
If you're not familiar with them, Bridge City Sinners are a Portland folk-punk band. Their sound pulls Appalachian folk and old-time jazz together with the volume and attitude of punk, built around banjo, fiddle, guitar, upright bass and ukulele. They started taking shape in 2016 as a loose collection of friends, with limited rehearsals and a fluid lineup. Upright bassist Scott Michaud still runs their community-focused label, Flail Records, which he founded on a "DIT"—do it together—philosophy. Guitarist, co-writer and vocalist King Strang leads the band.
Their 2024 album, In the Age of Doubt, reached No. 2 on Billboard's Bluegrass Albums chart, so there's plenty of new material to draw from. The Dallas show is part of that Trick or Treat tour, which carries the Halloween theme across the fall. With Streetlight Manifesto on the bill, it's a double bill of high-energy acts on the same night.
