Pop-punk and rock concert by the band Belmont at Puzzles Deep Ellum.
Belmont play Puzzles Deep Ellum on Sunday, October 11, starting at 6 PM. They're a pop-punk band from Chicago, signed to Pure Noise Records—the same label that puts out the Wild as Fuck compilation. The lineup is a three-piece: vocalist Taz Johnson on the front, Jason Inguagiato on guitar, and Brian Lada on drums.
If you're not familiar with them, they're operating in the same pop-punk lane as Knuckle Puck and Real Friends. Rock Sound Magazine has gone as far as to call them quite possibly the next great pop-punk band, placing them in that same lineage. Their album Between You & Me came from an original place, according to guitarist Sam Patt, and that's the kind of record they've built their sound around.
