Stand-up show by Hungarian-born comedian Zoltan Kaszas, known for his observational humor and viral cat jokes.
Zoltan Kaszas brings his Worldwide(ish) Tour to the Southern Theatre on Friday, November 13, at 7 PM. The show is presented by CAPA.
Kaszas is a Hungarian-born, award-winning stand-up comedian known for sharp, observational humor and an unabashed love of cats. He and his mother immigrated to the United States in 1991, first settling in Pittsburgh before moving to the San Diego area. The Atlantic called him a "breakout star," and his work has landed him on SiriusXM comedy channels, Laughs on Fox, Netflix Is a Joke, and Scotland's Fringe Festival, where he spent a month.
If you recognize the name but can't quite place it, you might know his riff on why cats are better than dogs, which went viral with more than 68 million views and made it into The Guardian's "ten funniest things I've seen on the Internet." Beyond the viral clips, he's put out two Dry Bar specials and four independent specials on YouTube: Modern Male, White Lies, Honorary Jones, and London Fog.
