All-ages Halloween party with live music from Pantera and Metallica tribute bands Penntera and Sanitarium at The King of Clubs.
The King of Clubs is hosting its Halloween party on Saturday, October 31, with Penntera taking the main slot. It's a tribute night built around two of the biggest names in metal: Penntera does Pantera, and Sanitarium does Metallica. If you've spent any time with those records, you know exactly what the evening is leaning onβthe heavy, groove-driven riffs of Pantera and the thrash of Metallica. Both bands are tributes, so the setlists will be built from the catalogs they're honoring rather than original material.
Those two aren't the only ones on the bill. XFactor1 and 8LB Pressure are also playing, which means the night starts well before the headliners take the stage. Between the four acts, the music stays in the heavy camp from start to finish, so you won't be switching gears halfway through. It's a full lineup for a single night, and since it's Halloween, the whole thing is billed as a party rather than just a concert.
One thing that sets this apart from a lot of the club shows in town is that it's all ages with an adult. If you've got younger kids who are into the music, this is one of those nights where you can actually bring them along. The King of Clubs is an all-inclusive, multi-tiered room that holds up to 850 people, and they have a full food and drink menu on site, so you can eat and drink there instead of hunting for something beforehand. There's also free security-patrolled parking, and the venue sits about ten minutes north of downtown Columbus.
