Tribute show in which Nash Stover plays Jim Morrison and the band recreates The Doors' music and stage show.
The Ultimate Doors bring their tribute to The Doors to The Bluestone on Saturday, January 16, 2027. The show starts at 7 PM, and it's a rescheduled date: it was originally set for September 5, 2026, and all tickets bought for that night are still good for the new one.
If you're not familiar with them, the band formed with the specific goal of preserving The Doors' music and performances, and they go about it with a level of detail that borders on the obsessive. Frontman Nash Stover takes on Jim Morrison, studying his vocals, his stage persona, and his fashion—down to the color of the microphone cable. Todd Huffman plays Robby Krieger on a Gibson SG, Nate Shaw handles Ray Manzarek's Gibson G-101 organ alongside a Fender Rhodes piano bass, and Jordyn Huffman drums on a Mod Orange Ludwig Downbeat kit. The leather outfits Morrison wore are part of it, too.
It's a recreation that reaches beyond the songs and into the gear. The Gibson SG, the G-101 organ, the Fender Rhodes piano bass, and the Ludwig Downbeat kit are the same instruments the original lineup used, and the band describes their work as bringing an authentic experience to both old and new generations of fans. That attention to detail is what they're known for, from the specific sound of the organ to the way Morrison carried himself on stage.
