Holiday comedy show by drag queens Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme, with a new show every year across nine seasons.
BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon bring their holiday show back to the Southern Theatre on Saturday, November 14, at 8 PM. It's the Columbus stop of their 2026 tour, and if you've seen them before, you know the drill: a brand-new show every year, written, directed, and produced by BenDeLaCreme with additional writing by Jinkx.
This is a long-running tradition. The show has premiered a new production every year across nine seasons, spawned eight live productions, and toured 30 cities across the U.S. and Canada. It also inspired the 2020 cult-classic film The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special. Over the years, the two have met sentient Christmas treats, twisted space-time with Dickensian Ghosts, ventured to the Nutcracker's Land of Sweets, and survived AI, body swaps, and elf attacks. The formula is camp spectacle, gags, new songs, storytelling, dance numbers, and costumes.
This tour also comes with a book: How the Queens Made Christmas: A Raunchy Holiday Romp for Festive Adults, published by Chronicle Books on October 20. It follows the queens trapped inside a book and includes behind-the-scenes photos and lyrics to three original songs. On the community side, the show partners with The Trevor Project to support suicide prevention and crisis intervention services for LGBTQ+ youth.
