Day of talks and presentations by TEDxKing Lincoln Bronzeville on creativity, culture and community shaping the future of the King-Lincoln-Bronzeville neighbourhood.
TEDxKing Lincoln Bronzeville is bringing a full day of talks to the Lincoln Theatre on Saturday, October 31. The event is called Living Legacy: The Renaissance Is Now, and it's built around creativity, culture, and community as the forces shaping the future of the neighborhood and beyond. The whole thing is set in the King-Lincoln-Bronzeville area of Columbus, and there's a particular focus on the area's heritage.
It's a day of talks and presentations, not just a single speaker. The program looks at how the neighborhood's history informs what comes next, with the talks revolving around those themes of creativity and community. It's the kind of afternoon where you can come for one talk and stay for the rest, since the speakers follow one after another.
The timing is worth noting if you're planning your day. There's a pre-show experience that kicks off at 12 PM, so you can get there early and hang out before the main program starts. The first speaker doesn't take the stage until 1:45 PM, which gives you a good window to settle in. The venue is the Lincoln Theatre at 769 E. Long St., right in the heart of the King-Lincoln-Bronzeville area.

Tickets are General Admission, so you'll be in the mix with everyone else. If you're coming for the whole thing, you'll want to be there well before that 1:45 PM start.
