The Savannah Bananas bring their Banana Ball World Tour to Huntington Park, mixing baseball with choreographed dances, outlandish rules and audience interaction.
The Savannah Bananas are bringing their Banana Ball World Tour to Huntington Park on Friday, August 6, 2027. If you've never seen them, they're a touring baseball entertainment group that bills itself as the 'Harlem Globetrotters of Baseball,' and this Columbus stop is one of several they're making across the region. They'll also be playing Dayton, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, with a stop in Indianapolis on the tour.
On the field, the matchup is the Texas Tailgaters against the Party Animals. But it's not a standard baseball game. The whole thing is built around Banana Ball, which comes with its own set of outlandish rules and fast-paced play. You'll see choreographed dances, players dancing their way around the bases, and plenty of audience interaction and surprise performances throughout the night. It's as much a show as it is a game, and the entertainment is just as much a part of the ticket as the baseball.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Columbus and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
