Paint-and-sip class in the Short North Arts District where guests paint a misty mountain sunset with drinks and music.
Pinot's Palette is hosting River Glow, a paint-and-sip class, on Sunday, November 1, from 6 PM to 8 PM at their Short North studio. The painting is themed around tranquil misty mountains with a sunset glow, and the studio bills the whole thing as "the perfect night out": you paint while you drink, with upbeat music playing and friends around you. It's set up for first-timers and experienced painters alike, so you don't need to have ever picked up a brush to fit in.
The studio is in the heart of the Short North Arts District and is run by local small-business owners. There's a full bar of beer, wine, wine-based cocktails, and mocktails, plus Starving Artist cheese plates and snacks to keep you going. You're welcome to bring your own food, though no outside beverages are allowed. Just keep in mind you have to be 21+ with a valid ID to drink alcohol.

If you want a bit more to take home, there's a DIY candle add-on for $25. You'll need to arrive 30 minutes early to pour your own all-natural soy candle, so if you're planning on it, make sure you're there by 5:30 PM. The class itself runs from 6 PM to 8 PM, and it costs $39 per guest. The studio is at 691 North High Street, Suite 101, in the Short North.
