Live music night headlined by Piatt Pund, with The Sea Monks, Folquinox and The Castros, part of the ARTober series.
Piatt Pund plays The Rambling House on Tuesday, October 27, as part of the ARTober series. He's the main draw of a four-act bill that also features The Sea Monks, Folquinox, and The Castros.
Pund is an NYC-based performer who hails from Colorado and California and has been playing music since he was four. He's a multi-instrumentalist who focuses on voice, violin, guitar, and mandolin, drawing on Classical, Celtic and Irish, Folk, Jazz, Blues, and Musical Theater. Bob Stillman, the Juilliard and Princeton alumnus and Tony Award-nominated actor and composer, described his style as "rock n roll rooted in R&B, funk and blues."
Sharing the bill are The Sea Monks, a family outfit from San Diego run by two brothers and a bassist from Oregon. Now based in Nashville and taking their music coast to coast, they're known as one of the hardest-working bands to come out of San Diego, playing a blend of Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly Country. Folquinox and The Castros round out the lineup.
