Country music singer Niko Moon performs live with special guest Blake Proehl on his Back To My Roots Tour.
Niko Moon brings his Back To My Roots Tour to KEMBA Live! on Friday, October 16, with Blake Proehl opening the bill. It's a stop on a tour that carries a pretty literal title—Moon's a Texas-born singer and songwriter, and the whole project points back toward where he started.
If you're coming to the show without knowing the name, you've almost certainly heard the work. Moon first broke through with the triple-platinum hit "GOOD TIME," and his 2021 debut album landed on the Billboard 200. But he'd been building a reputation as a lyricist long before he put his own name on a record: he started as a co-writer for Zac Brown Band and later penned hits for Morgan Wallen and Rascal Flatts. He produced the album AMERICAN PALM with L.A. producer Danny Majic, who has worked with OneRepublic, Flo Rida, and Galantis.
There's a fair amount going on with him outside the music, too. He launched the nonprofit Happy Cowboy Foundation, which supports mental health initiatives and addiction recovery programs, and he's the face of the premium water brand Happy Himalayan. He also recorded "KING OF THE ISLAND," a duet with his father, Cris Cowan.
