Night where music and stand-up alternate, pairing the singer-songwriter duo Oh Jeremiah with comedian Jared Kassebaum.
Oh Jeremiah and Jared Kassebaum play The Hashtag Comedy Club on Sunday, November 8, at 7 PM. It's a pairing of a Nashville singer-songwriter duo and a Los Angeles stand-up comedian, and the two are close friends, so the night doesn't keep them in separate boxes. Instead, the music and the comedy overlap and alternate throughout the show.
Oh Jeremiah is Jeremiah and Erin Stricklin. They met and fell in love in Mississippi, where they formed the band at the University of Southern Mississippi. Their third album, Jones County Ghosts, took its inspiration from Jeremiah's hometown of Laurel. They're based in Nashville now, and they bring that singer-songwriter side to the bill.
Jared Kassebaum is a Midwest-bred, LA-based comic. You might recognize him from TBS's Foul Play with Anthony Davis, where he pranks athletes. His album The Better Jared hit #1 on iTunes in 2023, and he's headlined on Norwegian Cruise Line. He's the stand-up half of the night, and since he and Oh Jeremiah are friends, the two acts trade off rather than running one after the other.
