Loft Gallery: Communion with the Unconscious by Alissa Ohashi

Alissa Ohashi is showing at Loft Gallery this fall, with her exhibition Communion with the Unconscious running from October 16 through November 22. It's a solo show, so the whole space is dedicated to her work for the duration.

If you want to catch the opening, there's a reception on Friday, October 16, from 6 to 8 PM. That's usually the best time to see the work when it first goes up and maybe run into the artist herself. After that, the show stays open through November 22, so you've got over a month to work around your schedule and drop in whenever it suits you.

Loft Gallery is inside the Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center at 139 W Main St, right in downtown Columbus. It's a central spot, so it's easy to hit on a lunch break or a weekend afternoon if you're already in the area. The exhibition runs for five weeks, which is a good stretch—you don't have to rush to see it in a single weekend.
