Stand-up comedy show by Nashville comedian and storyteller Kevin James Thornton at the Funny Bone Comedy Club.
Kevin James Thornton is coming to the Columbus Funny Bone Comedy Club on Sunday, December 13, 2026. He's the sole bill for the afternoon, so the whole set is his.
Thornton is a stand-up comedian and storyteller from Nashville, Tennessee, and that second part is where he really sits. He builds his act around comedy and storytelling, so you're getting more than just a string of one-liners. It's the kind of show that follows a narrative thread rather than jumping from punchline to punchline, with the humor coming out of the stories he's telling.
If you're not familiar with him, that Nashville background is part of the context. He's a storyteller first, and the comedy grows out of that, which is a different energy than a typical stand-up set. It's a good thing to keep in mind if you're deciding between this and a more traditional club night.
