Halloween Spooktacular - Free Community Event

Church of Scientology Central Ohio is hosting its Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 31, from 1 PM to 4 PM. It's a free community event, so it's one of those easy afternoon stops if you're already out in the neighborhood with the kids on Halloween.

The afternoon is built around a few different activities that run throughout the window. There's a scavenger hunt for the kids to work through, bouncy houses to burn off some energy, and face painting to get everyone into character. A balloon artist will be there too, twisting balloons into whatever the kids ask for. Since it's all open at once, you can drift between the bouncy houses and the scavenger hunt at your own pace rather than following a set schedule.

It's set up for all ages, so it works whether you've got toddlers who just want to bounce or older kids who'll actually get into the hunt. Because it's in the middle of the day, it's a good way to get the Halloween spirit going before the evening's trick-or-treating starts.

You'll find it at Church of Scientology Central Ohio, 1266 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215. It runs from 1 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, October 31, and admission is free.
