GG Magree

GG Magree plays Skullys Music Diner on Thursday, October 22, starting at 9 PM. She's an Australian DJ, producer, and vocalist who works in bass and trap, and this is a headline set—just her on the bill.

If you're not familiar with her, the best way to describe the sound is bass-heavy. Her live sets are built on high energy and heavy bass, and she sings over the top of it, which has drawn comparisons to M.I.A. and MØ. It's a combination of DJing and vocals that puts her in a different lane than a standard club set.

She's worked with some big names in the bass world. She teamed up with NGHTMRE and Zeds Dead on "FRONTLINES," which has more than 30 million plays on Spotify, and she's remixed artists including Billie Eilish. In 2021, her track "Loving You Kills Me" clocked half a million plays in its first few weeks. She's played major festivals like Firefly and EDC Las Vegas, was named YouTube's #10 artist to watch, and has been personally invited to join bills with Zeds Dead, DJ SNAKE, Virtual Self, Iggy Azalea, and NGHTMRE.

It's a late start on a Thursday night, so keep that in mind if you're planning your evening around it. The show is at Skullys Music Diner, 1151 N High St in Columbus, and it kicks off at 9 PM.
