GalaxyCon Columbus

GalaxyCon Columbus takes over the Greater Columbus Convention Center from Friday, December 4, through Sunday, December 6, 2026. It's a three-day celebration of fandom that pulls together comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming and cosplay under one roof. The convention hall is ringed with celebrity encounters, photo ops, and workshop sessions, and the Costume and Cosplay Contests award more than $4,000 in cash prizes, plus medals, trophies and guest judges. On Friday and Saturday nights, the After Dark late-night lounge runs with burlesque, singing, dancing, comedy, contortion and amazement—it's for adult audiences only, so no one under 18 is allowed in there.

The guest list is a wide mix of names. Kevin Smith does a 'Silent Bob Speaks!' Q&A and concert, and James Marsters performs a concert of his own. Cassandra Peterson, as Elvira, does a tea-and-cookies conversation. Other guests include William Shatner, Patrick Warburton, Steve Burns, Peter Weller, Helen Hunt, Paul Bettany, Joseph Mazzello, Matt Smith, Austin Creed, Kofi, Jenna Coleman and Emma Roberts.

If you're planning your weekend, keep the hours in mind. The convention runs Friday 2 PM to 11:59 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 12:59 AM, and Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM. The exhibition hall has slightly shorter hours: Friday 2 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. Tickets are non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-transferable.
