Paint and sip class themed around frogs, with an optional DIY candle add-on, for first-time painters and experienced artists.
Pinot's Palette is hosting Froggy State of Mind, a frog-themed paint and sip class, on Monday, November 2, from 7 PM to 9 PM at their Short North studio. The whole night is built around the frog, which the studio frames as a symbol of cleansing, adaptation, and ancient wisdom. It's pitched for everyone from first-time painters to experienced artists, so you don't need any prior painting experience to join in.
Inside, a talented instructor guides the room step by step, so you're not left guessing where the paint goes. The atmosphere is kept light with upbeat music playing in the background, and there's plenty of room to sit with friends. The studio is run by local small-business owners, and the Short North location sits right in the heart of the district on North High Street, between Russell and Buttles. Street parking is available nearby, and the Joseph, Hub, and E Goodale garages are all just a few minutes' walk away.

There's a full bar on-site, and you're welcome to bring your own snacks. If you want a bit more out of the evening, there's an optional DIY candle add-on: you pour your own all-natural soy candle before class starts, and it cures while you paint, so you leave with both your artwork and a custom hand-poured candle. The class runs from 7 PM to 9 PM on Monday, November 2, and costs $35 per guest.
