Paint-and-sip session in which a talented instructor guides guests through painting a dusky, metallic golden autumn forest.
Pinot's Palette Short North is hosting Forêt d'or, a paint-and-sip session on Thursday, November 5, from 7 PM to 9 PM. The evening is built around one painting: a dusky metallic golden autumn forest. You'll spend the two hours working on it, and the whole thing is guided by an instructor who walks the group through it step by step, so you don't need any painting experience to get through the night. The studio describes the session as being inspired by the golden magic of the forest, and that metallic gold is the main feature of the piece.
It's a social setup. There's a full bar available, along with Starving Artist cheese plates and snacks, and complimentary water. You're also welcome to bring your own food and drink if you'd rather. The studio itself is run by local small-business owners in the heart of Columbus' Short North Arts District, and they do more than just these one-off nights: they host Little Brushes painting events for ages 5 to 12, Family Day outings, and private parties for birthdays, bachelorette parties, and team outings, with a mobile painting party option if you'd rather they come to your own venue.

There's an optional add-on for the night: a custom-scented soy candle for $25, with the fragrance chosen before class. If you're planning to go, the studio suggests arriving 30 minutes early to get settled before the painting starts. The session runs from 7 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, November 5, at Pinot's Palette Short North, 691 North High Street, Suite 101, Columbus, OH 43215, and it's $39 per guest.
