Fontaines D.C. play KEMBA Live! with Iceage, an all-ages outdoor show presented by WCBE.
Fontaines D.C. are playing KEMBA Live! on Friday, September 24, 2027, with Iceage opening. The show is presented by WCBE, and it's an all-ages event that runs outdoors rain or shine.
If you're not familiar with them, Fontaines D.C. are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 2014 at BIMM Dublin. Grian Chatten is on vocals, backed by Conor Curley and Carlos O'Connell on guitar, Conor 'Deego' Deegan III on bass, and Tom Coll on drums. They signed to Partisan Records in 2018 and put out their debut album, Dogrel, in 2019. That record won Album of the Year at Rough Trade and was voted Album of the Year by BBC Radio 6 Music, and it earned them nominations for both the Mercury Prize and the Choice Music Prize.
Their second album, A Hero's Death (2020), landed a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album. Their third, Skinty Fia (2022), became their first number one on the Irish and UK Albums Charts and won them the Brit Award for International Group. Along the way, they've been grouped into the contemporary wave of ascending British and Irish post-punk bands.
