Live show by Columbus indie rock musician Faye at the Hollywood Casino.
Faye plays Hollywood Casino on Friday, October 30, at 8 PM. She's a Columbus-based indie rock musician, so this is a hometown show for her.
If you're not familiar with her work, the best place to start is the Woman in Black EP. It's a four-track release that pulls together a few different sides of her sound: the title track, "Woman in Black," and "Supernatural" sit alongside "Down Dog," which appears twice—once in its original form and once as an acoustic version. Having both versions on the same record gives you a good sense of how she works with the same song in two different ways.
That EP is the core of what she's been putting out, and it's what you'll likely hear from on the night. Between the full-band tracks and the stripped-back acoustic take, there's enough there to get a feel for her approach before you head out.
