Open-format DJ AXCESS plays Nationwide Arena in Columbus, headlining the Columbus Blue Jackets night.
DJ AXCESS is playing with the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Thursday, January 21, 2027, starting at 7 PM. It's a local Columbus DJ taking the stage at the arena, and if you've spent any time around the city's music scene, the name probably rings a bell.
DJ AXCESS is the stage name of Mike Salone, a Columbus DJ who's been playing crowds across the country since 2007. He works in an open-format style, which means he doesn't stick to one genre—he mixes across a wide range of sounds and keeps the energy moving. He's played sold-out arenas and handled corporate events for repeat clients like the NCAA Final Four, Columbus Crew SC, the Columbus Blue Jackets, The Ohio State University, IBM, Net Jets, Fit Radio, and Dahlia Nightclub.
Around town, he's played the Breakaway Music Festival, Haunted Fest, and Number Fest, and has shared the stage with Boyz II Men, Kesha, Skrillex, 3LAU, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Claptone, and Nicole Moudaber. That's a pretty broad run of names—R&B, pop, and heavy electronic music all in one list—which gives you a good sense of the open-format approach he's known for.
