Candlelight concert in which the Listeso String Quartet plays Vivaldi's The Four Seasons and La Folia in the Columbus Museum of Art.
Listeso String Quartet is playing Vivaldi's The Four Seasons at the Columbus Museum of Art on Thursday, February 4, 2027. It's a Candlelight concert, which means the room is lit only by candles—a setting the venue describes as unforgettable. The music is handled by a string quartet, and the program centers on The Four Seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter), the most popular of Antonio Vivaldi's 350 concertos and a cornerstone of the baroque tradition. They're adding Sonata n.12 in d-minor 'La Follia' RV 63 to the set as well.
The venue itself is part of the evening. The Columbus Museum of Art was founded in 1878, and its 1931 Second Renaissance Revival building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's a space that blends historic architecture with modern art collections and a sculpture garden, so you're hearing the music inside a building that's as much a part of the experience as the quartet.
