Candlelight concert by the Listeso String Quartet of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Massenet's 'Thaïs: Méditation' in Short North Church.
Listeso String Quartet is playing Short North Church on Friday, October 23, for a Candlelight concert that does exactly what the name suggests: the whole room is lit by candlelight rather than electric light. It's a one-hour show, and the program is built around Vivaldi's The Four Seasons—all four concertos, Spring through Winter, played in order. Alongside those, they'll perform Jules Massenet's Thaïs: Méditation, a slow, melodic piece that should fit the mood of the room.
The venue is a late 19th-century building in the Short North Arts District, and it's one of the community spaces that hosts these concerts regularly. Inside, the seating is assigned by zone, so you'll have a specific spot rather than just grabbing whatever's open. The evening is billed as a tribute experience and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the composer's estate.
There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you head over. The church isn't wheelchair accessible, though a chair lift is available to get you to the main level. There's no on-site parking, so you'll want to plan your arrival with that in mind. Also, tickets are sold through the Fever app and website, not at the door, so you'll need to book in advance.

The concert starts at 6:30 PM and runs for 60 minutes. Doors open 45 minutes before the start and close five minutes before it begins, so don't cut it too close. Tickets start at $34.
