Metalcore band Wage War performs live at The Fillmore Charlotte as part of their Emergency Broadcast Tour, with support from We Came as Romans, Varials and Cane Hill.
Wage War play The Fillmore Charlotte on Wednesday, November 25, as part of their Emergency Broadcast Tour. It's a full bill, with We Came as Romans, Varials, and Cane Hill all on the same ticket.
Wage War formed in Ocala, Florida, back in 2013. They signed to Fearless Records the old-fashioned way—sending a song to the label. Their debut, Blueprints, came out in 2015, and they followed it up with Deadweight. Both records were worked on with producers Andrew Wade and Jeremy McKinnon, the vocalist for A Day To Remember.
These days the band is fronted by vocalist Briton Bond, with Cody Quistad on guitar and vocals, Seth Blake on guitar, Chris Gaylord on bass, and Stephen Kluesener on drums. Their songs touch on personal and political ground, and they've spent a good part of their career resisting being tied to a single genre, even though they're often called metalcore. The Charlotte date is one stop on the Emergency Broadcast Tour, which brings them through the city with three other bands on the bill.
