Concert by American folk and rock artist Shakey Graves, supported by Jobi Riccio, at The Fillmore Charlotte.
Shakey Graves plays The Fillmore Charlotte on Sunday, December 6, with Jobi Riccio opening the night. Graves is an Americana, folk and rock artist from Austin, Texas, and this is a general admission, standing room only show open to all ages.
If you're not familiar with the name, Graves works across those Americana, folk and rock lines, pulling from the singer-songwriter tradition and the more rowdy side of roots music. He's from Austin, a city that's practically built on that kind of sound, and he brings it with him to Charlotte. Jobi Riccio opens the bill, so you'll get two acts in one night.
The Fillmore Charlotte is at 820 Hamilton Street, and since it's general admission and standing room only, there aren't assigned seats—you'll be on your feet for the duration. The show is open to all ages, so it's as easy to bring along younger friends or family as it is to go on your own.
