A chill gathering with a vendor's market, music, and a movie night under the stars at Victoria Yards.
Touch Grass: Flannels and Funnel Cakes comes to Victoria Yards on Sunday, October 18, from 3 PM to 8 PM. It's the third edition of the series, billed as a '3peat,' and it's put on by Charlotte Center City Partners and Parks & Recs. They describe it as a space where you can show up as yourself and reset and relax amid good vibes, music, and people.
The afternoon is built around two things: a vendor's market at Victoria Yards and a movie night under the stars. The movie on the bill is the 2003 Eddie Murphy comedy Haunted Mansion, so you'll have the market to browse through first and then a spot on the grass for the film once the sun goes down. Between the two, there's music to keep the afternoon moving.

Since it's an outdoor movie, you'll want to bring your own blankets and snacks to settle in for the screening. The organizers also ask for an RSVP, so it's worth getting that sorted before you head out. It runs from 3 PM to 8 PM at Victoria Yards, 209 E. 7th St. in Charlotte.
