Super Abari Monster Bash

Super Abari Game Bar is keeping its Halloween tradition alive with the Super Abari Monster Bash on Saturday, October 31, from 5 PM to 2 AM. If you've been there before, you know the setup: it's a bar that doubles as a game hall, with a wide variety of pinball, arcade, and console games to play between rounds. The Monster Bash is their annual Halloween party, and this year it's for the over-21 crowd only.

DJ NPC and friends are handling the music throughout the night, so there's a soundtrack to keep you going from the early evening well into the early morning. The party revolves around a costume contest, and the bar is leaning into the theme with spooky drink specials. One of the more specific additions to the menu is Malort Jell-O shots—a bold choice for anyone who knows the notorious taste of the wormwood liqueur. If you're looking for something more substantial than a drink, El Veneno will be on-site selling tacos and other food for purchase.

Between the games, the costume contest, and the food, it's a long night that runs nine hours, so you can drop in for a few drinks and a couple of games or settle in for the whole thing. The party is at Super Abari Game Bar, 1015 Seigle Avenue in Charlotte, on Saturday, October 31, from 5 PM to 2 AM, and it's 21+.
