Community tree care and planting event at Regency at Palisades, open to all ages with registration available in October.
TreesCharlotte is hosting a community tree care and planting event at Regency at Palisades on Friday, November 13, from 10 AM to 12 PM. It's a morning spent working with the city's canopy, and it's open to all ages, so it's as much for families as it is for anyone who just wants to spend a couple of hours outside.
The morning focuses on two things: caring for existing trees and getting new ones in the ground. You'll be helping with the upkeep of the trees already there and planting new ones to add to the neighborhood's cover. It's a hands-on kind of thing, and since it's open to all ages, you can bring the kids along and let them help out. If you've never planted a tree before, this is a good way to get started.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Charlotte and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Registration for the event opens in October, so you'll want to keep an eye on the TreesCharlotte calendar as that date approaches to secure your spot. The event runs from 10 AM to 12 PM on Friday, November 13, at Regency at Palisades.
