Post-hardcore rock band Rain City Drive performs at The Fillmore Charlotte as part of Sleeping With Sirens' 'An Ending In Itself Tour'.
Rain City Drive play The Fillmore Charlotte on Wednesday, November 11, as part of Sleeping With Sirens' An Ending In Itself Tour. They're a post-hardcore rock band from Sacramento, California, and they've been around since 2014, though they started out under the name Slaves. They rebranded in 2021, taking the name from Manchester, the city where the band first met, after signing to Thriller Records and bringing in vocalist Matt McAndrew. McAndrew had appeared on Season 7 of NBC's The Voice and stepped in to replace founding singer Jonny Craig in 2019.
Their 2022 self-titled album was called by critics "an album of anthems," and it followed three previous studio records, including 2020's To Better Days. The band blends heavy riffs with a pop-melodic swagger and has amassed more than 280 million streams across its catalog. That mix of heavy and melodic is a good way to get a sense of where they sitโpost-hardcore at the core, but with a pop sensibility that keeps the hooks front and center.

On the bill with them are Belmont and Honey Trap, so it's a full night of music rather than just a single set. Doors open at 6 PM, and the show starts at 7 PM. Tickets are $72.
