A live rock concert featuring Prince of Eden and Nolen Durham at The Evening Muse, a venue with a 21+ policy.
Prince of Eden plays The Evening Muse on Thursday, October 15, with Nolen Durham opening. The show is presented by the venue, which is located at 3227 N. Davidson Street in Charlotte.
Prince of Eden is the musical alias of Aaron Tebay, and the project is built on a habit of shifting gears: every year he moves into the genre that's moving him most. This year, that's guitar-heavy rock grooves. He's originally from Fullerton, California, but now lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nolen Durham brings a different thread to the bill. Born and raised in rural North Carolina, he describes the tension between urban and backcountry Baptist life as the core of his songwriting, which looks at identity, inherited values, and the phenomenon of "the hand we're dealt." He's also based in Nashville, where he writes, produces, and collaborates with other emerging songwriters.
