Player Dave

Player Dave headlines The Music Yard on Saturday, October 10, with a full night of club music. He's the main draw, but he's not playing alone: Nadia opens the night, followed by Set So B2B Christy Co, Terms of Indirament, and Near Violet. It's a long bill that keeps the dance floor moving from early evening through the late hours.

If you're not familiar with the project, it's been evolving since 2018. Dave started with a heavier electronic sound and has since shifted toward a more refined, club-focused style. He's played headline shows at Elsewhere in New York, The Ground in Miami, and Spin in San Diego, and has appeared at festivals alongside Joy Orbison, Sammy Virji, and Sara Landry, with dates at Hard Summer, iii points, EDSEA, Bass Coast, and Shambhala. Three years ago he launched Daisy Chain Recordings, a label and party series that showcases eclectic club music across the U.S. He describes his sets as being built around deep emotion and bold rhythms.

The night is run as a 21+ event, and the venue has walk-up and table-side food and beverage service, so you can grab a drink or a bite without leaving the room. The Music Yard is at SouthBound, 2433 South Blvd in Charlotte.

Doors open at 6 PM, and the music runs from 6 PM to 11:30 PM. It's a Saturday night, and with five acts on the bill, there's plenty of room to settle in early and stay late.
