London indie rock trio Palace perform live at The Fillmore Charlotte on their 2026 tour.
Palace play The Fillmore Charlotte on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. They're a London indie rock trio — Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner and Matt Hodges — who've been playing together for more than a decade, starting from jam sessions in an airless North London studio and sticking to a DIY ethos ever since.
Their sound is melancholic and soaring, built around atmospheric guitars, emotive vocals and reflective lyrics. If you've come across them before, it was probably through tracks like 'Bitter', 'Live Well' and 'Lonely'. In early 2025 they put out the Greyhound EP on their own label, Palace Presents — a collective that began in 2016 as a monthly night at The George Tavern in East London and grew into what Leo describes as a positive, protected space away from the usual music-industry constraints.
This Charlotte date follows a busy couple of years. In April 2026 they released 'Kid', a song about longing for a child an ocean away, which led into a 30-date tour of the US and Canada that wrapped up at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The Fillmore show is part of that same run.
