North Reach HOA TreeDay

TreesCharlotte is heading to the North Reach HOA on Saturday, January 16, for a community tree planting day. It's a neighborhood event, so the whole point is to get people out of their houses and into the dirt for a few hours.

If you've never done a planting day before, the idea is pretty straightforward: you show up, grab a shovel, and help get new trees into the ground. It's a hands-on morning spent working alongside your neighbors, and the result is something you can actually see and point to every time you drive through the neighborhood. TreesCharlotte handles the logistics, and the North Reach HOA provides the space, so you just need to bring yourself.

It's a good way to spend a Saturday morning, especially if you're looking for something that gets you outside and moving. You don't need to be an expert gardener to help out—the whole thing is designed for volunteers, and the work is shared across the group. It's as much about the people you'll be working with as it is about the trees themselves.

The planting runs from 9 AM to 12 PM, so it's a three-hour window on a Saturday morning. If you're in the North Reach area, it's a chance to put in some work for the neighborhood and leave it a little greener than you found it.
