Celebrate National Taco Day at Chuy's with a costume challenge and special food deals on dine-in entrées.
Chuy's is celebrating National Taco Day on Tuesday, October 6, with a deal that's as much a costume contest as it is a meal. If you dress up like a taco and post it on social media, you'll get a free dine-in entrée. It's a dine-in only offer, so you'll have to make the trip to their Charlotte location at 7314 Waverly Walk Avenue.
There's a bit of history to the date: National Taco Day officially moved from October 4 to the first Tuesday in October in 2024, and Chuy's is marking the occasion across all its locations. That includes Arkansas, Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, so it's not just a Charlotte thing.
If you're not in the mood to go full taco costume, there are a couple of other deals running that day. You can add a ground beef taco—crispy or soft—to any dine-in entrée for $1, and margarita floaters are also $1. If you'd rather stay home, you can get delivery fees waived through the Chuy's app with the code APPFREE.

Between the free entrée for dressing up, the $1 taco add-on, and the $1 margarita floaters, there are a few ways to play it. The free meal is the biggest prize, but it requires the costume and the social media post, so keep that in mind before you head out. The rest are dine-in, and the delivery deal is for when you're staying put.
