Music Bingo is back at Armored Cow Brewing on Saturday, October 10, starting at 6:30 PM. It's the brewery's signature game, and the premise is exactly what it sounds like: it works just like bingo, but instead of numbers, you're marking off songs. When you hit a winning combination, you walk away with a prize.
If you've never played, it's a low-stakes way to spend a Saturday evening. You listen for the tracks, mark your card, and compete with the rest of the room. It's as much about the music as it is about the game, and since it's a regular thing there, you'll likely run into a few familiar faces from previous rounds.
Armored Cow Brewing is over in University City at 8821 JW Clay Blvd, and they pour both gluten-free and traditional beers, so there's something on tap regardless of what you usually drink. The brewery keeps a steady rotation of food trucks and events going, including their University City Food Truck Friday every Friday from 5 to 9 PM, which usually brings in around five rotating trucks and live music. If you're in the neighborhood on a Friday, that's a good way to get a feel for the place before the bingo kicks off the next evening.
