Montford Park Block Party

The Montford Park Block Party is back on Sunday, October 18, at the Park Road Top Lot, 4619 Park Road, near Park Road and Mockingbird Lane. It's a rescheduled date, so if you'd marked your calendar for earlier in the month, this is the one to circle instead.

It's the annual Montford Block Party, a free community gathering that brings live music, food trucks and drinks to the neighborhood. The organizers bill it as a family-friendly day of music, food and community for all ages, and it's grown into a neighborhood fixture over the years. Local vendors and food trucks line the park, and there's a bar on site with drinks for purchase.

Since it's a block party, the whole thing is built around hanging out.
