Concert by Judah & the Lion, a Nashville band blending alternative, folk-hop and alt-rock, at The Fillmore Charlotte.
Judah and The Lion play The Fillmore Charlotte on Friday, November 6, with Breakfield opening. The show starts at 7:30 PM, and doors open an hour earlier at 6:30 PM.
If you haven't caught them before, the band comes out of Nashville, Tennessee, and their sound pulls from a few different places. They describe it as a mix of alternative, folk-hop, folk, alt-rock and rock, so it's not a single-lane kind of set. Judah Akers handles guitar and lead vocals, and Brian Macdonald is on mandolin and vocals, and that mandolin is a good indicator of where the folk side of things sits in the mix.
Breakfield opens the night, so there's a full bill to work through before the headliner takes the stage. The Fillmore Charlotte is a general admission standing room only venue, and all ages are welcome, so you'll be on your feet for the whole thing.
