Four renowned jazz pianists celebrate the holiday season with a concert and pre-show reception at Blumenthal Arts Center, featuring performances by JazzArts Academy students.
JazzArts Charlotte brings The Jazz Room Holiday Edition to the Booth Playhouse at Blumenthal Arts Center on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, 2026. It's a two-night run, with both shows starting at 7:30 PM. The evening pairs four renowned jazz pianists, each putting their own swing on holiday classics, with special performances by JazzArts Academy students.
There's more to it than just the music. A pre-show reception kicks things off at 6:30 PM, and a silent auction runs alongside the concert. The proceeds from the auction go to JazzArts' education programs, which support the future of jazz in Charlotte. The Booth Playhouse is part of Blumenthal Arts, a not-for-profit, multi-venue performing arts complex in Uptown Charlotte that opened in November 1992 and now owns and operates four theaters across two campuses.
