A charitable group bike ride hosted by HopFly Brewing Company, where participants ride together and the brewery donates to various charities.
HopFly Brewing Company is hosting another Bike and Brew on Saturday, November 7, starting at 1:30 PM. It's a simple enough setup: you show up on your bike, ride together as a group, and the brewery donates $1 for every participant to a charitable cause. The ride itself is the main event, and the donation happens just for being there.
The money goes to a rotating list of organizations. Past recipients include the National MS Society, the David Moore Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association, Camp Luck, and 24 Hours of Booty, so the beneficiary changes from ride to ride. If you're already planning a Saturday spin, this is an easy way to make it count for something more than just the miles.
HopFly is over at 1327 S Mint Street in Charlotte. It's a big spot with a large patio and a spacious interior, and there's a rooftop bar they call 'The Loft' that looks out over the city skyline—a good place to hang out before or after the ride. The Bike and Brew is part of their ongoing series, so this isn't a one-off; it's one of several they run throughout the year.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Charlotte and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
