Alternative night market featuring tarot, oddities, thrifted treasures, witchcraft and tarot readings. Free to the public, family and pet-friendly, rain or shine.
The Gothic Punk Night Market is back at NoDa Brewing Company on Friday, October 16, from 6 PM to 9 PM. It's a recurring event now, held every third Friday of the month at the North End Taproom, so if you miss this one, there's another coming a few weeks later.
It's billed as the area's best local alternative market, and that's a fair description of what you'll find. The tables are filled with tarot, oddities, and thrifted treasures, mixing one-of-a-kind finds with witchcraft and tarot readings. It's the kind of place where you can spend an hour browsing through things you didn't know you were looking for, and then stop for a reading if that's your speed. The vendors are local, and the whole thing leans into that alternative, slightly occult energy.
One of the best parts is that it's family- and pet-friendly, so you can bring the kids and the dog along. It runs outdoors rain or shine, which means you don't have to check the forecast before heading outβit's happening regardless of the weather. If you're into the weird and the wonderful, it's a good spot to spend a Friday evening.
