Ezell Farms Community Park TreeDay

TreesCharlotte is hosting a community tree planting day at Ezell Farms Community Park on Saturday, February 20, 2027. It's a straightforward morning: you show up, help get some new trees in the ground, and head home. The event runs from 9 AM to 12 PM, so you're done by lunch.

If you've never done a planting day before, it's pretty low-pressure. The whole point is just to add more canopy to the park, and they're looking for as many hands as they can get to make it happen. It's open to all ages, which means it's as much of a family thing as it is a solo one—you can bring the kids along and let them help dig, or just show up on your own if you're looking for something to do on a Saturday morning.

TreesCharlotte is the organization behind it, and they're the ones coordinating the planting. The work takes place right at Ezell Farms Community Park here in Charlotte, so it's a local project in a spot you might already know. If you're into the idea of spending a few hours outdoors doing something tangible for the neighborhood, this is a good way to do it.

It's a three-hour window on a Saturday morning, February 20, from 9 AM to 12 PM at Ezell Farms Community Park. All ages are welcome, so feel free to bring whoever you like.
