Grammy-nominated R&B and soul artist Eric Roberson performs live at the Knight Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Eric Roberson brings The Greatest Gift to the Knight Theater on Saturday, November 28, at 8 PM. The show is presented by Blumenthal Arts and The Sol Kitchen.
Roberson is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer who's spent more than two decades as an independent R&B and soul artist. He calls his work "Honest Music," and that's a good way to think about itβsoul music that doesn't hide behind a lot of polish. He's a Howard University alum from Rahway, New Jersey, and he's written and produced for Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, Dwele, and Vivian Green, and has headlined sold-out tours across the country.
He's also a prolific recording artist. His 17th studio album, Lessons, earned widespread acclaim, and in 2025 he released his 18th, Beautifully All Over The Place (BAOTP), exclusively on his own website. That's 18 albums in a career he's run on his own terms, which gives you an idea of the catalog he's drawing from for a night like this.

Beyond the music, he's held a few other roles you might not expect. He taught as a professor at Berklee College of Music from 2019 to 2024, appeared as a featured vocalist on NBC's That's My Jam with Jimmy Fallon, and serves as the Artistic Director at the National Museum of African American Music. He was also elected Chapter Governor of the Philadelphia Chapter Board for The Recording Academy.
Tickets start at $58.89, and the show kicks off at 8 PM on Saturday, November 28, at the Knight Theater in Charlotte.
