A musical adventure for families based on Dan Brown's book, blending storytelling, visuals and orchestral music to bring the story of Maestro Mouse to life.
Dan Brown's Wild Symphony comes to the Knight Theater on Saturday, February 20, 2027, as part of the Charlotte Symphony's 2026-27 Family Series. It's a morning show, running from 11 AM to 12 PM, and it's aimed at kids aged 4 to 9.
The performance brings Dan Brown's book Wild Symphony to life, blending storytelling, visuals and orchestral music into a show for families. The story follows the book's protagonist, Dan Brown, who meets a mouse named Maestro Mouse, and the stage version sends the audience on a whimsical journey through forests, oceans and beyond to meet playful animal friends along the way.
It's not a new piece, though. The work is a suite that premiered on October 9, 2020, at the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, with narration by Dan Brown himself, performed by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Miran Vaupotić. For this Charlotte performance, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra will be on stage, conducted by Christopher James Lees.
