A major automotive exhibition featuring luxury, sports, classic and custom vehicles, with an indoor test track and family-friendly exhibits.
The Charlotte Auto Show returns to the Charlotte Convention Center from Thursday, November 19, to Sunday, November 22. It's the 33rd annual edition, put on by the Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association, and it brings the automotive industry right into the heart of Uptown.
Inside, you'll find hundreds of new vehicles from major automakers, so you can see dozens of brands in one space. There's an indoor test track where you can actually drive gas, hybrid, and electric vehicles and compare them side by side. Custom builds are gathered on 'Built Different Blvd,' and the family-friendly side includes racing simulators, a kids' test track, and mascot appearances.
There's a charitable side to the show, too. The Rev & Roll concert supports 30 non-profits across the Greater Charlotte Region, and Hero Drive gives first responders, active military, veterans, medical personnel, and teachers free admission on Thursday. Children 12 and under always enter free. If you're over 21, Hops & Horsepower is a separate ticketed beer tasting.
