Free fall festival with artisan market, live music, balloon art, face painting and kids' entertainers.
Blakeney Fall Fest takes over Blakeney Shopping Center on Saturday, October 24, from 11 AM to 4 PM. It's a free fall festival, so you can just show up and hang out for the afternoon without worrying about tickets or a cover charge.
The main draw is an artisan market, where local makers set up shop and sell their work. If you're into browsing handmade goods, that's the core of the day. Around that, there's live music playing throughout the event, so you've got a soundtrack to go with the shopping.
There's a good amount of stuff for kids, too. Balloon art and face painting are both on the list, and they're bringing in kids' entertainers to keep the smaller ones occupied while you're looking through the market. It's the kind of setup where you can bring the whole family and not have to split up to keep everyone happy.
