Autumn ComicFest

Autumn ComicFest comes to the Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library on Sunday, October 18, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. It's an all-ages comic and fan gathering, so it's as much for kids as it is for adults. The main draw is the free comic books they'll be handing out, which is a great way to build a collection without spending a dime.

Beyond the comics, there's a Halloween costume and décor swap as part of the afternoon. If you've got a costume from last year that doesn't fit anymore, or some spooky decorations you're tired of, you can bring them along and trade them for something new. It's a practical way to refresh your Halloween setup while clearing out the closet, and it fits right into the festive mood of the day.

The event is held at the Allegra Westbrooks Regional Library, which you might still know as the Beatties Ford Regional Library. It's located in Charlotte, and the whole thing is free to attend. Between the free comics and the costume swap, it's a low-stakes afternoon that works whether you're there for the comics, the costumes, or both. It runs from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 18, and entry is free.
