Stand-up comedy show by Tom Davis, co-host of the podcast Wolf and Owl with Romesh Ranganathan.
Tom Davis brings his stand-up show Spudgun to the New Theatre on Saturday 24 October, with the curtain going up at 19:30. If you've come across his name but aren't sure where to place him, you'll probably recognise his voice from the podcast Wolf and Owl, which he co-hosts with Romesh Ranganathan.
That podcast is just one part of a career that's spent as much time on screen as on stage. He won BAFTA and Royal Television Society awards for the comedy series Murder in Successville and starred in the BBC One hit King Gary. He also wrote and starred in his own special Underdog, which you can find on Sky and NOW TV.
Beyond that, he's popped up in a fair few films and shows over the years. He's had roles in Wonka and Paddington 2, and has appeared in The Curse, A League of Their Own on Sky, Live At The Apollo on the BBC, and The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV. Spudgun is his own stand-up show, so it's him on stage rather than as part of an ensemble.
