The Rock & Roll Magic Show

Arron Jones brings The Rock & Roll Magic Show to the Wales Millennium Centre on Thursday 12 November, a production that puts magic, comedy and live music on the same stage. Jones is billed as London's West End's Rockstar Magician, and he first made his name on Britain's Got Talent before taking this show on the road. It's presented as a Wales Millennium Centre Production.

The set is built around magical parodies of rock hits, and the list of bands he works with runs through some familiar territory: Queen, Journey, Twisted Sister, Joan Jett and Billy Joel. The music isn't just a backdrop; it's woven into the tricks, so the comedy and the magic sit alongside the songs rather than in separate acts. One reviewer gave it five stars and called it 'The Perfect Blend of Music & Magic'.

If you're not familiar with him, Jones is a magician who leans into the rock side of things, and The Rock & Roll Magic Show is the full version of that. It's a night that mixes the two halves of the title — the magic and the music — and keeps the comedy running through it. The show is recommended for ages 18 and over.

It starts at 8pm, with doors opening at 7pm, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before it kicks off. The venue is the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
